The Blood That Truly Cleanses
A curtain opened for good
But when Christ came, He entered the TRUE, heavenly sanctuary — not made by human hands — by His OWN blood, securing eternal redemption, ONCE, for all time! The blood of animals could only cleanse the outside, ceremonially, and had to be repeated every year because it could never truly take away sin.
But the blood of Christ cleanses the CONSCIENCE itself, washing away real guilt, so we can serve the living God with a clean heart. Just as a person dies once and then faces judgment, so Christ was sacrificed ONCE to take away the sins of many — and He will appear a second time, not to deal with sin again, but to bring full and final salvation to those waiting for Him.
The curtain that once separated humanity from God's presence has been opened — for good.

Big idea: Christ's once-for-all entry into the TRUE heavenly sanctuary, by His own blood, decisively fulfills and surpasses everything the previous lesson's earthly tabernacle could only point toward. "Cleanse your conscience" (9:14) is real, inward cleansing, not merely positional forgiveness.
