'The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.' Notice the strong language — not just disapproval, but real detestation of dishonesty, and real delight in trustworthiness.
'A false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will not go free.' Proverbs takes lying with serious consequences, not as a minor inconvenience.
